We don't like to be the bearer of bad news, but we must let you know Yoenis Cespedes will no longer be using The Lion King's "Circle of Life" as his walk-up song. He debuted the song last year and on the night of the debut, he hit a walk-off home run and the song stuck with him since.
According to MLB.com's Joe Trezza, Cespedes picked a new anthem after experimenting with other music, and chose a new song to use on Saturday night as the Mets took on the Rockies.

The circle of life: In case you missed it, Yoenis Cespedes' new walk-up song is "Quiereme" by Cuban singer Jacob Forever.- Joe Trezza (@JoeTrezz) July 15, 2017
Choosing a walk-up song must be hard, and while we respect Cespedes' wishes, we will still miss the iconic song as he approaches the plate. And so will this fan.
