The Astros have been crowned the 2017 American League West champions after a 7-1 victory over the Mariners on Sunday. (Click here for Astros postseason gear). The team celebrated in front of the home crowd after Justin Verlander's first start at Minute Maid Park since joining the Astros. In addition to popping champagne and warm hugs, the team took to social media for some words of inspiration and some behind-the-scenes views.
The Astros couldn't celebrate without Orbit running on the field without a uniform. This is a GIF that we will never get tired of:
Lance McCullers was one of the first players to send out a message to fans.

Kate Upton herself was at the game, cheering on her beau:
And speaking of her beau ...
Verlander struck out 10 over seven innings in the game, a perfect complement for the Astros bats who smacked in four home runs.

Twitter wasn't the only form of social media bringing the celebrations. The Astros' Snapchat captured it all from the clubhouse and the field -- and there wasn't anyone who was safe from the bubbly:
Josh Reddick knows a thing or two when it comes to celebrating and he was trying to soak up every moment of Sunday's championship celebration.
