What is MLB Network?

MLB Network is Major League Baseball's 24/7 cable television network, which means access to Our National Pastime All The TimeTM. Fans can tune in at any time for live games, award-winning studio programming, news, highlights, analysis and interviews with the biggest names in the game.

How can I find out if I get MLB Network?

Why is a certain game unavailable in my area?

Unless a game is otherwise not available in a club's home television market, most live game telecasts on MLB Network are blacked out in the home TV markets of the participating clubs. Viewers in those areas may be provided with an alternate game telecast or programming. Select MLB Network game telecasts may also be available on a regionalized basis.

Does MLB Network produce content in high-definition?

All original MLB Network programming is produced in true 720p high-definition format. MLB Network's HD channel listings can be found by entering your zip code in our channel locator here. If you are not receiving the MLB Network HD feed, please contact your video provider.

Can I request or purchase a copy of an MLB Network program?

MLB Network Live Streaming FAQ

A live, authenticated stream of MLB Network is available on desktop, iPhone, iPad and supported Android smartphones and tablets to MLB Network subscribers of eight of the top 10 pay TV providers in the U.S.

The live stream will include all MLB Network studio shows, original programming, regular season, Postseason and Spring Training game telecasts, and analysis from the best in the business, including Bob Costas, Peter Gammons, Al Leiter, Pedro Martinez, Harold Reynolds, Ken Rosenthal, John Smoltz and Tom Verducci.

2. On what devices is the MLB Network live stream available?

The live MLB Network stream is available on iPhone, iPad and supported Android smartphones and tablets via MLB.com At Bat, and on PC/Mac through MLBNetwork.com.

3. How can I access it?

Users may log in to the authenticated MLB Network stream via MLB.com At Bat or MLBNetwork.com with their pay TV provider credentials. You will be required to re-enter your credentials every 30 days in order to re-establish your authorization. Download the At Bat app for iPhone, iPad and Android smartphones and tablets at MLB.com.

4. Will games be subject to local blackouts?

As with MLB Network game telecasts, games watched via the live stream will be subject to local blackout restrictions depending on the user's location. Users who are blacked out of a game may receive an alternate game or alternate programming.

5. Does this streaming product cost extra?

Access to the MLB Network live stream is included in the user's pay TV subscription. There is no additional cost.

6. Will this be available outside of the U.S.?

At this time, the MLB Network live stream is available only within the United States.

7. Can I access the MLB Network authenticated stream via MLB.TV?

Access to the live stream is available only via MLB.com At Bat and MLBNetwork.com.

8. Is MLB Network Strike Zone included in the live stream?

At this time, the MLB Network Strike Zone channel is not available via live streaming.

AUTHENTICATION PROCESS

iPhone via MLB.com At Bat
1. Download MLB.com At Bat at MLB.com.
2. Open the At Bat app and tap on the "More" icon in the lower right.
3. Tap on "MLB Network."
4. Choose your provider from the list of participating providers.
5. Log in with your provider username and password. Please contact your provider for assistance if you do not recall this information.
6. Once logged in, you will be taken to a video player to begin the live MLB Network stream.

iPad via MLB.com At Bat
1. Download MLB.com At Bat at MLB.com.
2. Open the At Bat app and tap on "MLB Network."
3. Choose your provider from the list of participating providers.
4. Log in with your provider username and password. Please contact your provider for assistance if you do not recall this information.
5. Once logged in, you will be taken to a video player to begin the live MLB Network stream.

To watch MLB Network on one of the supported Apple devices below, you must have the latest version of At Bat and must be running a minimum of iOS 7.

Android via MLB.com At Bat
1. Download MLB.com At Bat at MLB.com.
2. Open the At Bat app and select "MLB Network" from the menu.
3. Tap the "Play" button.
4. Choose your TV provider from the list of participating providers.
5. Log in with your provider username and password. Please contact your provider for assistance if you do not recall this information.
6. Once logged in, you will be taken to a video player to begin the live MLB Network stream.

MLB.com At Bat requires a minimum of Android OS version 4.0 and will run on phones and tablets. View a list of tested and confirmed Android devices at http://mlb.mlb.com/mobile/atbat/devices.jsp.

PC/MAC

2. Click the "Watch Live" button at the top of the page
3. Choose your TV provider from the list of participating providers.

BLACKOUT INFORMATION

What is the blackout policy for the MLB Network streaming product?

Unless a game is otherwise not available in a club's home television market, most live games on the MLB Network live stream are blacked out in the home TV markets of the participating clubs. Viewers in those areas may be provided with an alternate game or alternate programming. Select MLB Network game telecasts may also be available on a regionalized basis. MLB Network may also carry other content from time to time that is subject to streaming restrictions and blacked out as a result.

Occasionally viewers may experience a blackout of both MLB Network's primary AND alternate content; these viewers will receive a message stating that content is unavailable at that time.

Why am I receiving a message stating that no content is available?

You are likely located in the home TV market of one of the participating clubs playing in both our Primary game and Alternate game. This is a temporary situation that will resolve once the Primary or Alternate game ends. Please try accessing the live stream later.

TROUBLESHOOTING

Why is my TV provider not shown on your authentication page?

Access to the MLB Network live stream is only available through the participating pay TV providers shown on the authentication page. If your provider is not listed, MLB Network is either not offered by your provider, or the live stream is not available through your provider. Contact your provider and ask for MLB Network, including live streaming, or to find a provider in your area who offers MLB Network go to www.findmlbnetwork.com. We are adding new providers, so check back soon to see if we've added yours to our list.

I am unable to authenticate with my TV provider account. What can I do?

This account information is set with your provider. If you're unsure of your account login and password please contact your provider to ensure you have the right credentials. Remember that passwords (and sometimes logins) are case-sensitive.
