MLB Network Live Streaming FAQ

A live, authenticated stream of MLB Network is available on desktop, iPhone, iPad and supported Android smartphones and tablets to MLB Network subscribers of eight of the top 10 pay TV providers in the U.S.

The live stream will include all MLB Network studio shows, original programming, regular season, Postseason and Spring Training game telecasts, and analysis from the best in the business, including Bob Costas, Peter Gammons, Al Leiter, Pedro Martinez, Harold Reynolds, Ken Rosenthal, John Smoltz and Tom Verducci.

2. On what devices is the MLB Network live stream available?

The live MLB Network stream is available on iPhone, iPad and supported Android smartphones and tablets via MLB.com At Bat, and on PC/Mac through MLBNetwork.com/Watch.

3. How can I access it?

Users may log in to the authenticated MLB Network stream via MLB.com At Bat or MLBNetwork.com/Watch with their pay TV provider credentials. You will be required to re-enter your credentials every 30 days in order to re-establish your authorization. Download the At Bat app for iPhone, iPad and Android smartphones and tablets at MLB.com.

4. Will games be subject to local blackouts?

MLB Network’s Postseason game telecasts can be watched via the MLB Network live stream anywhere in the United States without local blackouts. If your video service provider is offering a free preview and you do not currently subscribe to MLB Network, you are not eligible to watch via the live stream on MLB.com At Bat, MLB Network.com/Watch and MLB.TV.

5. Does this streaming product cost extra?

Access to the MLB Network live stream is included in the user's pay TV subscription. There is no additional cost.

6. Will this be available outside of the U.S.?

At this time, the MLB Network live stream is available only within the United States.

7. Can I access the MLB Network authenticated stream via MLB.TV?

Access to the MLB Network live stream is available in the United States via MLB.TV, MLB.com At Bat and MLBNetwork.com.

8. Is MLB Network Strike Zone included in the live stream?

At this time, the MLB Network Strike Zone channel is not available via live streaming.

AUTHENTICATION PROCESS

iPhone via MLB.com At Bat
1. Download MLB.com At Bat at MLB.com.
2. Open the At Bat app and tap on the "More" icon in the lower right.
3. Tap on "MLB Network."
4. Choose your provider from the list of participating providers.
5. Log in with your provider username and password. Please contact your provider for assistance if you do not recall this information.
6. Once logged in, you will be taken to a video player to begin the live MLB Network stream.

iPad via MLB.com At Bat
1. Download MLB.com At Bat at MLB.com.
2. Open the At Bat app and tap on "MLB Network."
3. Choose your provider from the list of participating providers.
4. Log in with your provider username and password. Please contact your provider for assistance if you do not recall this information.
5. Once logged in, you will be taken to a video player to begin the live MLB Network stream.

To watch MLB Network on one of the supported Apple devices below, you must have the latest version of At Bat and must be running a minimum of iOS 7.

Android via MLB.com At Bat
1. Download MLB.com At Bat at MLB.com.
2. Open the At Bat app and select "MLB Network" from the menu.
3. Tap the "Play" button.
4. Choose your TV provider from the list of participating providers.
5. Log in with your provider username and password. Please contact your provider for assistance if you do not recall this information.
6. Once logged in, you will be taken to a video player to begin the live MLB Network stream.

MLB.com At Bat requires a minimum of Android OS version 4.0 and will run on phones and tablets. View a list of tested and confirmed Android devices at http://mlb.mlb.com/mobile/atbat/devices.jsp.

PC/MAC
1. Go to www.MLBNetwork.com
2. Click the "Watch Live" button at the top of the page
3. Choose your TV provider from the list of participating providers.
4. Log in with your provider username and password. Please contact your provider for assistance if you do not recall this information.
5. Once logged in, you will be taken to a video player to begin the live MLB Network stream.

What are the supported platforms for using this product in a browser?

TROUBLESHOOTING

Why is my TV provider not shown on your authentication page?

Access to the MLB Network live stream is only available through the participating pay TV providers shown on the authentication page. If your provider is not listed, MLB Network is either not offered by your provider, or the live stream is not available through your provider. Contact your provider and ask for MLB Network, including live streaming, or to find a provider in your area who offers MLB Network go to www.findmlbnetwork.com. We are adding new providers, so check back soon to see if we've added yours to our list.

I am unable to authenticate with my TV provider account. What can I do?

This account information is set with your provider. If you're unsure of your account login and password please contact your provider to ensure you have the right credentials. Remember that passwords (and sometimes logins) are case-sensitive. If your video service provider is offering a free preview and you do not currently subscribe to MLB Network, you are not eligible to watch via the live stream on MLB.com At Bat, MLBNetwork.com/Watch and MLB.TV.
