Atlanta Braves on July 2, 1996.

Earned a September call-up from the Chicago Cubs and appeared in six games, batting .222 (2-for-9) with

a double and a run ...Prior to his call-up appeared in 74 games from Triple-A Iowa, batting .232 (54-for-233) with 17 runs, nine doubles, and 18 RBI ... With Iowa, batted .274 with runners on base (29-for-106) and hit .281 (18-for-64) with RISP .... Following the season, played for Leones de Caracas in the Venezuelan Winter League.

2012 Began the season at Triple-A Gwinnett, and had three stints with Atlanta (May 26-June 10, July 13-14, September 1-end of season) ... appeared in six games at the major league level, going 2-for-10 (.200) with two RBI. ...Produced a .189 batting average (42-for-222) with 12 doubles, three home runs and 23 RBI in 70 games with Triple-A Gwinnett. ...Hit .290 (18-for-62) against left-handed pitchers compared to a .150 clip (24-for-160) against righties at Gwinnett. ...Clubbed a solo home run in his first start of the season, April 5 at Durham. ...Logged a .989 fielding percentage (7 E/616 TC) in 70 games as a catcher while throwing out 27 of 68 baserunners attempting to steal (40 percent). ...Hit .271 (23-for-85) with a home run and 10 RBI in 26 games with Leones del Caracas in the Venezuela Winter League. 2011 Spent the majority of the season with Triple-A Gwinnett. Did appear in four games for Atlanta...Made his first career Major League start on 7/31 and collected his first Major League hit (1-for-3) off FLA's Ricky Nolasco, a single to right field in the second inning...Appeared on the ML roster on three separate occasions. Had his contract purchased on 4/8 from GWI and was optioned to GWI on 4/16. Recalled on 7/27 in place of the injured Brian McCann and optioned to GWI on 8/16.
