Carlos Maldonado...graduated from Perez Bonolches HS in Venezuela. 2012 Blasted 6 home runs in just 51 games with Syracuse of the Triple-A International League...enjoyed 3-week stint with the Nationals in late May and into June...started 3 games due to injuries to Wilson Ramos, Jesus Flores and Sandy Leon. 2011 Tallied 10 extra-base hits and 12 RBI in 38 games in return engagement with Syracuse of the Triple-A International League...endured pair of DL stints. 2010 In nearly 2-week stint with the Nationals, went 3-for-11 (.273) and hit a 3-run homer in a 14-4 win on May 31 at HOU... during time with Syracuse of the International League, served as Stephen Strasburg's battery mate in Triple-A debut, May 7 vs. Gwinnett...helped Strasburg one-hit and strike out 6 in 6.0 scoreless innings that evening at Alliance Bank Stadium. 2009 Appeared in 24 contests with Triple-A Pawtucket in BOS organization, but missed significant time with 3 separate DL stints (right hamstring, left
