Over his final nine outings (11.1IP) allowed 13 earned runs (10.32 ERA) after not surrendering an ER in his previous 23.1 IP (14 games)...Posted a 1.48 ERA (9ER/54.2) in the 18 games in which he has pitched at least 2.0 innings...Recorded his first ever save May 31 vs. KC (3.0, 4H, 0ER, BB, HB)...Allowed a career-high (in relief) five earned runs August 8 at CWS (0.2IP, 6H, 2BB)...Had his career-high 18.1 scoreless innings streak snapped July 31 at HOU with an unearned run...Earned his first win of the season July 20 vs. TEX, his first victory since September 19, 2013 vs. NYY…The victory snapped a four-game losing streak...Set a new career-high with five strikeouts as a reliever April 6 vs. NYY.

Had two separate stints with the Blue Jays in 2013 making 14 starts and 17 appearances. Team was 7-7 in his 14 starts... Made three appearances as a reliever before being converted to a starter...In relief allowed three earned runs in 7.2 innings. Posted a 3.02 ERA at Rogers Centre with a .166 opponents avg and 6.75 ERA on the road with a .303 opponents avg. Had at least seven strikeouts in four of his starts, including a career-high 10 vs. Houston on July 28...Fanned at least six in seven of his 14 starts and ended the season with a 9.4 strikeout/9 total, highest on the staff. Was better when receiving extra rest going 2-0 with a 2.97 ERA in six starts...With normal four days rest was 1-2 with a 5.81 ERA. Had four starts where he tossed at least six innings while giving up no more than one run...Allowed two earned runs or less in six of his last nine starts, and allowed three earned runs or less in all but two starts... Didn't pitch during a 3-day stint with ATL, 6/17-6/20, or during 1-day stints with the Reds on 7/17 and 7/31 ... After he was acquired from ATL was sent to Louisville but didn't pitch there before he was recalled on 7/17 ...
