Kevin Martin Jepsen...wife, Andrea (Foisy)...grew up in Reno, Nevada...attended Bishop Manogue High School...as a senior at Bishop Manogue High School was named 2002 Gatorade State Player of the Year...went 9-1 with one save and a 0.84 ERA for the Class 3A state champs... struck out 116 and walked 18 in 58.2 IP...at the 2008 Olympics in Beijing, he closed out the USA's 8-4 win over Japan in the bronze medal-winning game...pitched in four Olympic games with one save, a 0.00 ERA (5.2 IP) and five strikeouts.

Began season with Tampa Bay after being acquired via trade with Los Angeles-AL December 16, in exchange for outfielder Matt Joyce....
