Edward Lee Lucas...married to Holly...they have a son, Rhodes, born in September of 2013...graduated from Spruce Creek High School in Port Orange, Fla. in 2000...graduated from Dartmouth College in 2004...was named 2004 Ivy League Player of the Year...was honored as 2004 Alfred E. Watson Award winner as most outstanding athlete at Dartmouth...named All-Ivy League three times and was 2004 first team All-New England selection.

2013

Finished season batting .321 (27x84) in September, which ranked 18th in National League... Batted .360 (18x50) in final 12 games, with a hit in 11 of those contests. Entered offseason on six-game hitting streak (.292/7x24)... Had five consecutive multi-hit games from Sept. 15-19. Tied Gaby Sanchez (2010), Derrek Lee (1998) and Edgar Renteria (1996) for third-longest such streak in Club history, behind Chris Coghlan (streaks of 8 and 6 in 2009) and Hanley Ramirez (6 in 2006). - STATS LLC...
