Mark Rogers and his wife Kerrie have a daughter named Ellyette…graduated from Mount Ararat (ME) High School, where he played baseball, soccer and hockey.

2013

Spent entire season in minors after being placed on 60-day disabled list on March 25, splitting time with AA Huntsville, High-A Brevard County and the Arizona League Brewers, making 12 appearances including seven starts…activated from the DL on Aug. 30…made two starts for Bravos de Margarita in the Venezuelan Winter League.
 

2012 Spent most of the season at Triple-A Nashville, where he went 6-6 with a 4.72 ERA in 18 starts. Was recalled by Milwaukee on 7/28 following the trade of Zack Greinke to the Angels. Earned his fi rst Major League win in a 9-5 victory on 8/20 vs. Chicago-NL (5ip, 5h, 3r, 3er, 3bb, 7k, 1hr). Struck out 41 batters in just 39.0 innings with the Brewers. The team went 3-4 in his starts ... was the victim of 3 blown saves. Won his last 3 starts of the season, posting a 2.35 ERA (15.1ip, 4er) ... did not pitch after 8/31. 2011 Went 0-5 with a 9.34 ERA in 15 games (13 starts) between Triple-A Nashville, Class-A Brevard County and the Rookie Arizona Brewers. Was on the disabled list from 4/28-5/12 and 5/23-7/26 with carpal tunnel syndrome in his right wrist ... returned to the disabled list on 8/15 before being suspended on 8/19. Received a 25-game suspension on 8/19 after a second positive test for a stimulant in violation of Major League Baseball's Joint Drug Prevention and Treatment Program. Served 17 of the 25 games of his suspension before the season ended. Underwent surgery on his right wrist on 8/24, performed by Dr. Don Sheridan. 2010 Spent most of the year at Double-A Huntsville, where he went 6-8 with a 3.71 ERA in 24 starts. ... Held Southern League opponents to a .210 batting average as he struck out 111 batters in 111.2 innings. ... Also made a start at Triple-A Nashville, which came in a no decision on 6/2 vs. Albuquerque (4.1ip, 3h, 1r, 1er, 3bb, 3k). ... Was recalled by Milwaukee from Huntsville on 9/10. ... Went 0-0 with a 1.80 ERA in 4 games (2 starts) with the Brewers. ... Opponents batted just .067 (2-for-30) ... struck out 11 batters in 10.0 innings. ... His first 2 appearances with the Brewers came in relief and his next 2 appearances were starts. ... Made his Major League debut on 9/10 vs. Chicago-NL (1ip, 1k) ... his first career strikeout victim was Micah Hoffpauir. ... Pitched again in relief on 9/15 at Houston, tossing a perfect inning. ... Made his first Major League start on 9/24 vs. Florida and received no decision in the Brewers' 6-2 win (3ip, 0h, 0r, 0er, 2bb, 4k, 1hbp).....in that start notched his first Major League hit in his first career plate appearance with an infield single off Andrew Miller (also scored). ... Made his other start on 10/1 at Cincinnati and received no decision in the Brewers' 4-3, 11-inning win (5ip, 2h, 2r, 2er, 1bb, 6k). ... Began his Major League career by not allowing a hit over his first 9.1 innings pitched ... his first hit allowed was a fifth-inning single by Jonny Gomes on 10/1 at Cincinnati. ... Enters 2011 as the top prospect in the Brewers organization according to Baseball America while that same publication rated his fastball as the best in the organization. 2009 Returned from shoulder surgery and spent the season at Class-A Brevard County, going 1-3 with a 1.67 ERA in 23 games (22 starts)...opponents batted just .201...Following the season pitched for the Peoria Javelinas in the Arizona Fall League. 2008 Missed the entire season for the second straight year as he underwent a second surgery on his right shoulder on 6/6 (Dr. John Conway). 2007
