Full name LUCAS CHRISTOPHER CARLIN...Married, Kimberly…Daughters, Olivia (8) and Evelyn Kate (2)… Is a 1998 graduate of Philemon Wright High School in Gatineau, Quebec, Canada, where he played baseball, football, basketball, volleyball and ran track...Also participated in track and field in high school...Attended Northeastern University in Boston, where he was named an All-America East conference selection as a junior after hitting .364 with 46 runs, nine doubles, six home runs, 31 RBI and 17 stolen bases...Finished second in the American East Conference during junior season...Hit .315 with 42 runs, seven doubles, six home runs and 38 RBI as a sophomore at Northeastern.

2013

Spent the season with the AAA Salt Lake Bees after signing with the Angels in November...Appeared in 70 games at catcher and hit .349 (15-43) in June with a HR and 13RBI...Hit .242 (47-194) off RHP...Threw out 14 of the 67 (21%) potential basestealers.

2012

Spent most of the season with AAA Columbus and had a four-game stint in Cleveland, 5/26-30, when Carlos Santana was placed on the 7-day concussion DL.

2011 Spent the last season and a half in the Indians organization and spent the entire 2011 campaign at AAA Columbus where he hit .213 (40-188) with 8 2B, 5HR & 27RBI in 63 games...The switch-hitting catcher drew 44 walks against just 45 strikeouts for a season on-base % of .364 and was on the DL for 5 weeks in June and July with right elbow soreness and a right thumb injury...
