Resides in Vancouver, WA in the offseason with his wife, Stephanie, their son, Micah, and daughter, Kennedy. Went 1-4 with three saves and a 3.74 ERA in 2004 at the University of Texas at Arlington. Graduated from Fort Bend Baptist Academy in 2001, earning first team All-District honors all four years.

2015

Began the 2015 season in the Seattle Mariners organization before being acquired by the Blue Jays on July 31. Combined to pitch in 57 games between the Mariners and Blue Jays and had a 1-3 record with one save, a 1.96 ERA (55.0IP/12ER) and 61 strikeouts. Ranked seventh among American League relievers with a 1.96 ERA -- 49 of his 57 outings during the season were scoreless. Assigned to Triple-A Tacoma to begin the season -- made seven appearances with the Rainiers and had a 0-1 record with one save, a 1.00 ERA (9.0IP/1ER) and 11 strikeouts. Had his contract purchased by the Mariners on May 4. Made 12 appearances in the month of May and had a 0.69 ERA (13.0IP/1ER) with 12 strikeouts. Did not allow an earned run in 12 straight appearances from May 14-June 12, a stretch that spanned 14.2 innings -- during the stretch he allowed 10 hits and struck out 14 batters. Had five appearances of 2.0 innings during the season -- threw 2.0 innings on May 28 vs. Cleveland, May 31 vs. Cleveland, June 12 at Houston, July 23 at Detroit and July 26 vs. Toronto. Pitched in 10 games during the month of June and had a 1.00 ERA (9.0IP/1ER) with 14 strikeouts. Had a stretch of 12 consecutive scoreless outings from June 15-July 18, a span of 10.1 innings -- struck out 19 batters during the stretch. Went 0-1 with a 1.29 ERA (14.0IP/2ER) and 21 strikeouts in 12 appearances during the month of July. Earned his first win of the season on September 1 vs. Cleveland -- the victory was his first since April 1, 2013. Pitched in both games of the doubleheader on September 12 at the New York Yankees and notched his first save of the season in the nightcap, throwing a scoreless inning -- the save was his first since May 18, 2011 at Kansas City. Appeared in six games for the Blue Jays during the postseason and had a 0-0 record with a 4.15 ERA (4.1IP/2ER) and six strikeouts. Held righthanded hitters to a .196 (22-for-122) batting average, while lefthanders batted .276 (24-for-87) against him. Posted a 0.64 ERA (28.0IP/2ER) and 37 strikeouts in 28 appearances prior to the All-Star break...had a 1-3 record with one save, a 3.33 ERA (27.0IP/10ER) and 24 strikeouts after the All-Star break. 

2014

Spent most of the 2014 season with Triple-A Columbus in the Cleveland Indians organization. Made 41 appearances with Columbus and had a 4-3 record with 17 saves, a 5.62 ERA (41.2IP/26ER) and 47 strikeouts. Began the season by converting eight consecutive save opportunities from April 8-May 10. Had his contract purchased by the Indians on May 22 -- made seven appearances over two stints with Cleveland during the season and had a 0-1 record with a 3.86 ERA (7.0IP/3ER) and six strikeouts. Did not allow an earned run in his first three appearances with the Indians from May 22-25. • Had his contract optioned by the Indians to Triple-A Columbus on June 2. Did not allow an earned run for Columbus from April 29-June 10, a stretch that spanned 10.1 innings over 10 games. Had his contract recalled by the Indians from Triple A Columbus on June 16. Had his contract optioned by the Indians to Triple A Columbus on June 25. 

2013

Made his sixth consecutive Opening Day roster…appeared in 11 games with the Angels, posting a 9.26 ERA (11.2-IP, 12-ER) before his release on June 6…signed with the Nationals and spent the remainder of the season with Triple-A Syracuse…in 24 relief apps, went 3-1 with 1 save while compiling a 3.14 ERA (28.2-IP, 10-ER), 10 BB and 37 SO…also made 3 apps with Class-A Inland Empire (Angels).

2012

Spent the entire season with the Rangers except for a seven-week stint on the DL…went 0-2 with a 3.43 ERA (39.1-IP, 15-ER) in 36 apps in the majors…placed on the DL on June 29 (right intercostal strain) and missed 36 games…posted a 2.30 ERA (31.2-IP, 8-ER) prior to his DL stint.

Lowe was placed on the disabled list on Aug. 20 with right elbow tendinitis and was later transferred to the 60-day disabled list.
