Made his sixth consecutive Opening Day roster…appeared in 11 games with the Angels, posting a 9.26 ERA (11.2-IP, 12-ER) before his release on June 6…signed with the Nationals and spent the remainder of the season with Triple-A Syracuse…in 24 relief apps, went 3-1 with 1 save while compiling a 3.14 ERA (28.2-IP, 10-ER), 10 BB and 37 SO…also made 3 apps with Class-A Inland Empire (Angels).

2012

Spent the entire season with the Rangers except for a seven-week stint on the DL…went 0-2 with a 3.43 ERA (39.1-IP, 15-ER) in 36 apps in the majors…placed on the DL on June 29 (right intercostal strain) and missed 36 games…posted a 2.30 ERA (31.2-IP, 8-ER) prior to his DL stint.

Lowe was placed on the disabled list on Aug. 20 with right elbow tendinitis and was later transferred to the 60-day disabled list.
