Signed as a free agent with Milwaukee on 1/31...Went 3-3 with a 4.14 ERA and 1 save in 33 games (5 starts)...Made his first career Opening Day roster.....was the only non-roster invitee to make the team...Was 1-2 with a 6.48 ERA as a starter (25ip, 18er) and 2-1 with a 2.94 ERA in relief (49ip, 16er)...Made 15 relief appearances of at least 2.0 innings, posting a 1.49 ERA (36.1ip, 6er)...Notched his first Major League save on 9/28 at New York-NL in the 4-2, 10-inning victory...Was on the 15-day disabled list from 6/25-7/23 with a right oblique strain, retroactive to 6/24...Was reinstated from the DL on 7/24 and made 5 relief appearances before he was optioned to Triple-A Nashville on 8/16.....went 1-0 with a 2.77 ERA in 3 starts at Nashville...Was recalled on 8/30, taking the roster spot of RHP John Axford (traded to St. Louis)...Pitched for Licey in the Dominican Winter League.
