Carlos Angel Peguero (peh-GEHR-oh)...originally signed by Seattle as a nondrafted free agent on Jan. 20, 2005...participated in the Mariners mini camp in 2010.

Spent a majority of the season at Triple-A Tacoma, but appeared in two big league games with the Seattle Mariners... Homered in first plate appearance of the season, April 25 vs. the Angels...it was a 451-foot blast to center field, which is the third-longest recorded home run in Safeco Field history... Tied for second among Seattle farmhands with 19 homers, which also ranked seventh in the Pacific Coast League...his 83 RBIs tied for third-most among Mariners' minor leaguers... Recorded a career-high six hits (6-for-7, 2B, HR), at Reno on July 26...also matched a career-best with six RBI at Colorado Springs on June 19.
