Full name ROBERT ANDREW STUBBS...Single...2003 graduate from Atlanta (TX) High School, where he was a high school All-America selection...Was a 3-time All-American in baseball and 2-time academic All-American at the University of Texas, where he majored in business...Led UT to the 2005 College World Series title...In 2006 shared Longhorns Co-Most Valuable Player honors...Following that 2006 season was first team All-America, Big 12 Co-Player of the Year and 1 of 5 finalists for the Golden Spikes Award...In 2004 hit a game-winning, 2-run triple in the FISU II World University Baseball Championship game in Taiwan, earning Team USA the gold medal...2013 TribeFest participant.

2014

Came to Colorado in an offseason trade with Cleveland that sent LHP Josh Outman to the Indians...played at least 130 games for the fifth-straight season in 2014...his .289 average in 2014 was a new career-high...Was one of four Rockies outfielders to play center field in 2014...his 113 games at the position led the team, as did his 92 starts...In addition to setting a career high in batting average, also set career-best marks in on-base percentage (.339), slugging percentage (.482) and OPS (.821)...his 22 doubles tied a career-high (2011), while his 15 home runs tie his second-most for a single season (15 in 2011 and 22 in 2010)...The 2014 campaign marked the fourth time in Stubbs' career to steal at least 20 bases...his 137 steals since his first full season in 2010 are the 12th-most among active players...One of the Rockies' most clutch players...hit .306 (41-for-134) with six doubles, three triples, eight home runs, 25 RBI, 952 OPS in the seventh inning or later...his eight home runs and 25 RBI both led the club in the seventh inning or later (Charlie Blackmon also had 25 RBI in seventh inning or later)...Stubbs' eight game-winning RBI tied Nolan Arenado for the team lead...Stubbs had two walk-off hits, a three-run walk-off home run on Aug. 17 vs. Cincinnati and a walk-off RBI single 9/6 vs. SD...also had two other last-at bat RBI: ago-ahead solo HR on April 29 at Arizona and a go-ahead two-run HR in the eighth on July 9 vs. San Diego...Hit .391 (9-for-23) with two doubles, one home run, six RBI as a pinch-hitter...Hit .328 (43-for-131) with six doubles, seven home runs, 17 RBI vs. LHP...is a career .283 (208-for-734) hitter with 31 doubles, 31 home runs, 89 RBI and an .823 OPS vs. LHP.

In his first season in Cleveland spent the majority of the season as the club's regular right fielder...was his first Major League playing time at a position other than center field...played 105 games in right (86 starts) and 43 games in center (38 starts)...owned a .978 fielding percentage with 6 assists overall in 2013... Stole 17 bases and was caught just twice...for his career has been succesful on 127 of his 156 stolen base attempts (81.4-percent)... Saw the majority o fhis success offensively vs. left-handed pitching, as he hit .266 (38-for-143) with 7 doubles, 2 home runs and 15 RBI (.718 OPS) vs. LHP...his .216 with a .637 OPS vs. right-handed pitchers...for his career has hit .274 with a .796 OPS vs. LHP and .226 with a .652 OPS vs. RHP... Notched his 500th career hit on 7/9 vs. TOR... Had 2nd-career 4-hit game on 5/3 vs. MIN... Did not play in the Wild Card game vs. TB.

2012 Was a finalist for the Rawlings Gold Glove Award and was voted by National League managers the third-best defensive outfielder in the NL...The Reds went 47-7 when he scored a run...Produced his third straight 30-steal season...Led the club and ranked T9th in the National League in stolen bases...From 7/23-7/29 won his first NL Player of the Week Award (along w/ Mil's Carlos Gomez)...Homered 3 straight games, July 28-30 (for first time in his career), and hit 4HR in 6G, July 24-30 (11RBI). by a Reds batter at Great American Ball Park. 2010 Became only the ninth player in Reds history to produce at least 20 homers and 30 steals in a season...was accomplished for the 14th time...the others are Brandon Phillips (2007), Aaron Boone (2002), Mike Cameron (1999), Barry Larkin (1996), Reggie Sanders (1995), Eric Davis (1988, 1987, 1986), Joe Morgan (1977, 1976, 1974, 1973) and Vada Pinson (1960)...was the only National League center fielder and 1 of only 2 Major League center fielders to hit at least 20 homers with at least 30 stolen bases (Alex Rios)...led the team and ranked T7th in the National League with 30 stolen bases...also led team team with 6 triples, 135 starts in CF and 83 starts batting seventh in the order...also hit leadoff (32gs), second (4gs), sixth (8gs),
