Full name JEFFREY MICHAEL MANSHIP...Wife, Trisha… 2003 graduate of Ronald Reagan High School (TX), where he was named an All-American his final 2 seasons…Went 22-2, 0.64 ERA with 4 no-hitters (1 perfect game), a 7.9 SO/BB ratio and 9.0-inning averages of 17.4 SO, 2.2 walks and 3.1 hits allowed in his final two seasons… Member of Team USA's 16-under and 18-under Youth and Junior National Teams, winning a gold medal in 2001… 2007 graduate of the University of Notre Dame where he led the team in SO (111) and wins (9) and earned a degree in economics...Named Big East Conference Pitcher of the Year.

2015

Came to Major League camp as a non-roster, Minor League player and compiled one of the most impressive seasons of relief in club history, posting a 0.92 ERA in 32 games (39.1IP, 20H, 4R/ER, .155avg), the lowest ERA in club history and lowest in MLB in 2015 among pitchers with 30 games pitched...Was one of just 12 pitchers since at least 1914 to have an ERA of 0.92 or better in at least 30 games...Posted a 0.79 ERA in 12 spring relief appearances (11.1IP, 9H, 1R/ER, 3BB, 14K, .205avg) before being assigned to Triple-A Columbus at the end of camp...Was with Columbus the first two and a half months of the season, posting an ERA of 0.44 (20.1IP, 14H, 1ER) over his last 15 appearances...Was promoted from AAA Columbus on June 18 and spent the remainder of the season with Cleveland…Allowed runs in just 4 of his 32 appearances with Cleveland, including 3 holds over his last 9 appearances…Over his last 27 outings in the second half he posted an ERA of 0.86 (31.1IP, 18H, 3ER, 8BB, 27SO, .171 avg) and over his last 18 outings after August 10 he posted an ERA of 0.41 (22.0IP, 12H, 1R/ER, 6BB, 21SO, .162 avg) and did not allow a run over his last 14 games (16.1IP, 6H, 0R) starting on August 26...Tossed at least 1.0IP in 26 of 32 outings and over 1.1IP in 13 of them...Batters hit just .155 (20-129) off him with Cleveland with just 1 home run allowed in 39.1IP while yielding an OPS of .440...Batters hit .158 (9-57) with runners on base and .200 (9-45) with RISP...Right-handed Major League batters hit just .103 (8-78) off him with 3 2B, 0 3B, 0HR and a .310 OPS allowed...From the 8th inning-on he posted an ERA of 0.64 (14.0.IP, 6H, 1ER).

2014

Made the Phillies as a non-roster invitee...His win on 4/26 at Arizona was his first since 9/6/10 vs KC, a span of 40 ML appearances (including 4 starts)..Was removed after straining his right quad running to 1st base on 5/31 and placed on the 15-day DL the next day...Was outrighted to Lehigh Valley (AAA) on 7/25.

2013

Began the season with Colorado Springs (AAA)...Shuttled between the rotation and the bullpen...Walked 1 or none in 9 of 17 starts (53%)...Had his contract selected by COL on 8/8...Made 4 starts (0-4, 6.86 ERA) before moving to the bullpen.
