Full name is Bradley Steven Meyers...attended Loyola Marymount University where he led the team in ERA (3.46), innings pitched (109.1) and strikeouts (85) in his final collegiate season in 2007...ranks sixth all-time in the school's history with a career 3.65 ERA...was selected in the 14th round of the 2004 First-Year Player Draft by the New York Mets, but chose to attend to college. 2011 Combined to go 9-7 with a 3.18 ERA (138.2IP, 49ER) in 25 games (24 starts) with Single-A Auburn, Double-A Harrisburg and Triple-A Syracuse...combined to record 116K with only 15BB... finished with the fifth-lowest ERA among all Nationals minor league pitchers. .. Began the season with Harrisburg, going 3-2 with a 2.48 ERA in six starts (36.1IP, 10ER)...allowed 2ER or less in fi ve of his six starts and 1ER or less in three of those outings, holding his opponent scoreless once. .. Was promoted to Syracuse on 5/5, where he went 6-5 with a 3.48 ERA (95.2IP, 37ER) in 17 games (16 starts) in his first Triple-A action...held opposing batters to just 8H in 39AB (.205) with runners in scoring position and two outs. .. Was placed on the disabled list on 7/1 with a sore left foot...made two rehab starts with Auburn and did not record a decision, allowing 2ER in 6.2IP (2.70 ERA)...was reinstated from the disabled list and rejoined Syracuse on 8/1. .. Began the season with Potomac, going 6-2 with a 1.43 ERA (88.1IP, 14ER) in 15 games (14 starts)...was named to the Carolina League's midseason All-Star team, and earned the league's "Pitcher of the Week" honors twice, for the week of 5/4-10 and 6/29-7/5. ... Was promoted to Harrisburg on 7/7, going 5-1 with a 2.25 ERA, allowing 12ER in 48.0IP... held opposing batters to just 5H in 29AB (.172) with runners on and two outs. ... Following the season, was tabbed by Baseball America as having the "Best Control" among all Carolina League hurlers. 2008 Spent the entire season with Single-A Hagerstown of the South Atlantic League, going 9-7 with a 4.79 ERA (107.0IP, 57ER) in 22 games (21 starts)...earned Hagerstown "Player of the Month" honors for July after going 3-3 with a 1.80 ERA (35.0IP, 7ER) in six starts during the month. 2007 Made his professional debut, going 1-1 with a 1.56 ERA (40.1IP, 7ER) in 10 combined starts with the GCL Nationals, Single-A Hagerstown and Single-A Potomac...tossed 24.0 scoreless innings to begin his career. .. Started the year with the GCL Nationals and did not record a decision, allowing just 2H in 9.0 scoreless innings (9K)...was promoted to Hagerstown on 7/30, where he went 1-1 with a 0.44 ERA (20.2IP, 1ER) in four starts... finished the season with Potomac following his promotion from Hagerstown on 8/21 and did not record a decision in three starts, allowing 6ER in 10.2IP (5.06 ERA).
