Has pitched primarily as a reliever during his seven seasons in the Astros system, making only 15 starts in 202 career appearances...owns a 15-24 record with 19 saves and a 4.41 ERA (182ER/371.2IP) ... Pitched for three teams in 2011, Triple A Oklahoma City (1g), Double A Corpus Christi (47g) and Zulia in the Venezuelan Winter League (26g)...combined to allow only three home runs in his 97.1 innings pitched. Signed with Houston as an 18-year-old non-drafted free agent out of Maracaibo, VZ, on Feb. 7, 2005... signed by Astros scouts Andres Reiner and Orlando Fernandez ... Added to the Astros 40-man roster on Nov. 19, 2010... signed to a one-year contract that runs through the 2012 season ... Signed with Houston as an 18-year-old non-drafted free agent out of Maracaibo, VZ, on Feb. 7, 2005... signed by Astros scouts Andres Reiner and Orlando Fernandez ...
