2011 Opened the year with Triple-A Colorado Springs, going 0-2 with a 6.28 ERA in 17 outings before being recalled by the Rockies on 5/20...appeared in seven games before landing on the 15-day disabled list on 6/4 with a right shoulder inflammation, transferred to the 60-day D.L. on 7/3... underwent season-ending arthroscopic surgery in August. 2010 Made the Rockies Opening Day roster for the first time in his career after making 57 appearances with the Rockies in his rookie 2009 campaign...Was optioned to Triple-A when Jeff Francis was reinstated from the disabled list, 5/16...was later placed on the disabled list on 6/16 with right shoulder inflammation...transferred to the 60-day disabled list 8/3...made two rehab appearances at Triple-A before being reinstated from 60-day disabled list on 9/6...Tossed a career-high 2.1 innings 5/28 vs. ARI...in that same outing threw a career-high 40 pitches...Allowed just three of his 13 inherited runners to score this season (23.1 %)...also tallied six holds and finished four games in his 28 appearances...Began the 2010 season with 7.1 scoreless innings from 4/5-24...allowed just one run in his first 13.2 innings of the season...April was his best month of his career as he went 0-0 in 10 games with a 0.96 ERA (9.1 ip, 1 er) allowing just four hits (.129 average), walking seven and striking out five...Has 73 strikeouts in 74.1 career innings pitched. 2009 In his sixth professional season, Matt made his Major League debut in late April and remained a key part of the Rockies bullpen for the remainder of the season...after taking part in his first Major League Spring Training camp he began the season at Triple-A Colorado Springs...appeared in 5 games for the Sky Sox before being summoned to the Majors on 4/22...took the active roster spot of Franklin Morales after he was placed on the 15-day disabled list, and the 40-man spot of Taylor Buccholz after he was transferred to the 60-day DL...posted a 1.13 ERA (8.0 ip, 1 er) with just one walk and 15 strikeouts in his 5 appearances for Colorado Springs...made his Major League debut on 4/25 vs. LAD by tossing a scoreless inning with a strikeout...made 3 consecutive scoreless appearances to open his Major League career...took first career loss 5/5 at SD by allowing a game winning RBI double to Brian Giles in the 10th inning...following the loss he had 4 consecutive scoreless appearances, including 1.2 ip scoreless outing 5/14 vs. HOU...allowed 3 runs on 2 hits and a walk without recording an out 5/17 at PIT...was forced to leave that game early after he suffered an ankle injury when he tripped over a bat tossed aside by home plate umpire Bill Welke while attempting to back up home plate...went on the 15-day DL due the injury on 5/18 and did not return until 6/5...made 2 scoreless rehab appearances for the Sky Sox, striking out 4 batters over 2.0 innings...made 4 consecutive scoreless appearances following his return from the DL from 6/5-11, all of which were during the Rockies 11-game winning streak...allowed runs in 5 of 7 outings from 6/16-7/8 and saw his ERA climb to a season high 5.09 on 7/4...after allowing one run in the 8th inning during his season-high tying 2.0 inning appearance 7/8 vs. WAS, Daley tossed a scoreless 9th to begin a season best 14.2 scoreless inning streak...the streak was the longest scoreless inning streak by a Rockies relief pitcher in 2009...during the streak he tossed allowed just 4 hits and 3 walks while striking out 18 batters...opponents hit just .087 (4-for-46) against him during the streak, and he notched 3 holds and 5 games finished...he tossed 2.0 scoreless innings twice during the streak, and did so in backto- back games; allowed one run in the 9th of that game, but Colorado rallied for two runs in the bottom of the inning to win the game...notched holds in 4 consecutive games from 9/27-10/2...from the All-Star Break to the end of the season he allowed runs in just 8 of his 35 appearances...his 35 post-All Star appearances led the Rockies...opponents hit just .231 (43-for-186) against him on the season, which was the 3rd-lowest among Rox relievers that faced at least 150 batters with the club...his 57 apps ranked 10th among NL rookies...his 9.71 strikeouts per 9.0 innings pitched ratio was 11th-best among NL relief pitchers who tossed at least 50.0 innings...finished tied for the club lead on the Rockies with 12 holds in his first Major League season. 2008 Began the season at Tulsa, but made just 3 appearances there before being transfered to Colorado Springs...led the Sky Sox in appearances (60) and relief innings (62.1)...went 4-0 with a 2.25 ERA (32.0 ip, 8 er) in 28 appearances at home, compared to 0-6 with a 5.34 ERA (30.1 ip, 18 er) in 32 appearances on the road...posted a 3.33 ERA (48.2 ip, 18 er) in innings seven through nine...lefties hit .233 (20-for-86) against him and righties hit .247 (36-for-146)... 2007 Pitched the entire season for Double-A Tulsa, going 2-6 with a 3.49 ERA (95.1IP, 37ER)in 43 games (10 starts)...in 33 games as a reliever went 2-3, 2.80 (61.0IP, 19ER). 2006 Combined to go 4-3 with a 3.00 ERA (75.0 IP, 25ER) and 15 saves in 54 games between Single-A Modesto and Double-A Tulsa...led the Modesto club with 51 relief appearances. 2005 Went 8-2 with a 3.99 ERA (79.0IP, 35ER) in 45 relief appearances with Single-A Asheville...tied for the team lead in wins...earned a spot on the SAL midseason All-Star team...allowed 1ER total in his final 11 appearances, covering 17.0IP (0.53 ERA) 2004 In his first professional season, went 2-1 with a 4.75 ERA (30.1IP, 16ER) in 21 games for rookie-level Casper...struck out 30 batters while issuing just 5BB.
