He and his wife Amanda reside in Leander, TX...Hit .461 with 11 HR, 40 RBI and five stolen bases as junior at Westwood High School in Texas in 2001...Selected as a Second-Team High School All- American by Baseball America in 2002 after batting .571 (64-for-112) with 49 runs scored, 11 doubles, 12 HR, 45 RBI and six stolen bases as a senior at Westwood High School...Rated the 33rd-best prospect overall and fourth-best in the state of Texas prior to the draft by Baseball America in 2002...Signed by Tim Grieve (Tigers). 2010 Played in 53 games batting .257 with eight doubles and 29 RBI with Gwinnett (AAA) in his first season in the organization.
