Craig B. Tatum...He and his wife, Daniele, have one daughter, Lanier...Attended Mississippi State University...Is a 2001 graduate of Hattiesburg (Miss.) High School...named Mississippi Gatorade Player of the Year as a senior, hitting .435 with 54 RBI...also named Mississippi High School All-Star and All-State selection...Signed by Jerry Flowers. 2011 Split the season between Triple-A Norfolk and the Orioles, hitting .200 (13-for-77) in 21 games with the Tides and .195 (17-for-87) in 31 games for the Orioles...Began the season with the Tides...on the disabled list from May 7-19 with a right shoulder impingement...was recalled by the Orioles on May 26...Hit .333 (12-for-36) in his first 15 games, compared to .098 (5-for-51) in his final 16...Claimed off waivers by the Astros on Oct. 28. 2010 Made the club as a backup catcher out of spring training, his first Opening Day roster ...
