Jordan Norberto...was originally signed by Junior Noboa...he and his wife, Jennifer, have a daughter Jaelyn. 2012 Went 4-1 with a save and a 2.77 ERA in 39 games in a season shortened by two stints on the disabled list with injuries to his left shoulder...missed 18 games in June and the final 44 games of the regular season after going on the DL Aug. 18...had a 3.91 ERA in 21 appearances before going on the DL the first time...then compiled a 1.69 ERA in 18 games following his return...held the opposition to a .200 batting average, including .184 (21-for-114) against right-handed hitters compared to .225 (16-for-71) against left-handers...allowed just 4-of-24 (16.7%) inherited runners to score...first batters faced were 6-for-37 (.162) with two walks (.205 on-base percentage)...they are 6-for-42 (.143) with three walks (.200 on-base percentage) over the last two years...opponents hit .191 with runners in scoring position, including .115 with RISP and two outs...walked 22 batters in 52.0 innings after issuing 29 free passes in 26.2 innings over his first two seasons...did not allow a run in six outings on no days rest (8.1 ip)... posted a 2.16 ERA and .153 opponents batting average in 18 appearances during the day compared to a 3.33 ERA and .240 opponents average in 21 games at night...yielded four of his five home runs at night...four of the home runs were solo shots...allowed a .409 batting average to the opponents number three hitter, .172 against everyone else...now has a .410 (16-for-39) career opponents batting average against the number three hitter compared to .185 (45-for-243) against the rest of the batting order...was charged with two blown saves...tossed more than one inning in 19 of his 39 appearances, including two or more eight times...had just five outings under one inning. 2011 Was acquired from Arizona at the trading deadline, posting an 8.10 ERA in six relief appearances over two stints with the A's...reported to Oakland Aug. 1 and compiled a 3.60 ERA in four games before he was optioned to Triple-A Sacramento Aug. 13...returned Aug. 18, tossing a scoreless eighth inning that night against Toronto...then allowed four runs on one hit and five walks in 0.2 innings in the A's 22-9 loss at New York (AL) Aug. 25 before being optioned back to Sacramento the next day...became just the second reliever in Oakland history to walk five batters in a game while pitching less than one inning (Craig Minetto, five walks in 0.0 innings, July 4, 1979 at California)...issued seven walks in 6.2 innings overall with the A's and now has 29 walks in 26.2 career innings (9.79 per nine innings)...allowed a .308 opponents batting average, which broke down to .294 (5-for-17) against right-handed hitters and .333 (3-for-9) against left-handers...yielded a .333 average with runners in scoring position...first batters faced were 0-for-5 with a walk and he allowed 1 of 2 (50.0%) inherited runners to score...pitched for Escogido in the Dominican Winter League following the season and was 2-0 with a 2.45 ERA in 16 games, six starts.
