Split the year between Buffalo (AAA) of the International League and New Hampshire (AA) of the Eastern League... Began the season at Double-A...Struck out 44 over 27.1 innings, limiting the opposition to a .128 (12-94) average... Was promoted to Buffalo on May 29...Did not allow a run in 16 of his 28 outings with the Bisons.

Spent time at three different levels... Opened the season in Toronto's rotation...Lost his season debut, 4-3 in Cleveland...Allowed four runs earned in 6.0 innings... Optioned to Las Vegas (AAA) of the Pacific Coast League on April 8...Returned to Toronto on May 2 and pitched out of the bullpen... Optioned to New Hampshire (AA) of the Eastern League on May 13...Transferred to Las Vegas on June 19...Recalled by Toronto on June 20 to start in Milwaukee that day... Optioned to Las Vegas on June 21... Recalled by Toronto on July 26...Sent back to the minors on July 30 and returned to the majors for a final time on September 7... Struck out a career-best five over 2.0 hitless innings on September 20 at Yankee Stadium... Lost both his major league starts, compiling a 9.00 ERA (nine earned runs/9.0 innings)...Did not record a decision in nine games out of the bullpen...Had a 4.15 ERA (six earned runs/13.0 innings) as a reliever.

ML DEBUT: Made his ML Debut Aug. 23 vs. KC and pitched 3.1 scoreless innings, allowed four hits and struck out two... STINGY: Allowed just two runs in his 11 appearances and just one over his final nine (10.1IP)... Held opponents to a .200 average (11-for-55) and a .254 OBP... With no one on base, allowed opponents to hit .290 (9-for-31) but with runners on base held opponents to a .083 (2-for-24)... HOME BOY: Allowed just one run in seven appearances (11.1IP) for a 0.79 ERA and held opponents to a .190 average... VS RIGHTIES: Was particularly tough on right-handed hitters, limiting them to a .161 average (5-31)... IN THE MINORS: Spent the majority of the season with New Hampshire (AA) and in 24 games and a team high 23 starts was 7-9 with a 3.41 ERA (134.2IP/51ER) and was named an Eastern League Mid-Season All-Star... His 10.16 K/9IP led the Blue Jays minor league system... PITCHER OF THE WEEK: Was named Eastern League Pitcher of the Week from May 16-22 when he went 2-0 with a 0.73 ERA (12.1IP/1ER) in two starts. 2010 Spent the entire season with the Dunedin Blue Jays (A) of the Florida State League ... Led the Club in innings pitched (137.2) and strikeouts (173) ... His 173 strikeouts set a new Dunedin record breaking Nate Cromwell's record of 161 set in 1992 ... Set a Florida State League 2010 high with 15 strikeouts in a game July 10 vs. Lakeland in a 2-1 loss... was 2nd in the FSL with his 173 strikeouts and T-2nd in complete games with two. 2009 Spent the majority of the year with the Lansing Lugnuts (A) of the Midwest League making 14 starts and had an ERA of 3.62 which was 2nd best on the Club... Was named an Organizational Star of the Month in August (2-0, 2.61ERA, 11ER, 38IP, 29K)... Began the season with Auburn (A) making two starts before being promoted. 2008 n his first season with the Auburn Doubleday (A) of the New York-Penn League was 2nd on the club in wins (5) and ERA (3.42) over 15 games (13 starts)... Was named to the New York-Penn League Mid-Season All-Star game (DNP)... Had a 11 strikeout game July 22, 2008 and followed that up with a 10 strikeout game in his next start... Was named the New York-Penn League Pitcher of the Week (July 7-13). 2007 In his first season in North America with the GCL Blue Jays, led the team in wins (6) and strikeouts (64)... His 64 strikeouts also led the Gulf Coast League... Was named an organizational Star of the Month for August (3-1, 2.25ERA, 30K). 2006 In his second professional season led the DSL Blue Jays in wins (8) and was second in ERA (1.53), innings pitched (82.1) and strikeouts (86)... Only allowed two home runs over his 82.1 innings of work. 2005 Made his professional debut with the DSL Blue Jays appearing in eight games and making four starts... Struck out 29 batters in 30.1 innings as a 19 year-old.
