Married Elizabeth … attended Xavier University … was nominated for the 2008 Golden Spikes Award … was the third-highest draft pick in Xavier's program history … is a 2005 graduate of Elder (Ohio) High School … led the Panthers to a 28-1 record and the 2005 Division I state title … was named the Ohio Division-I Player of the Year in 2005 … originally was drafted by Minnesota in the 40th round of the 2005 First-Year Player Draft but did not sign.
