2015

Trade deadline acquisition provided an immediate spark and played a solid center field for Cleveland over the last two months of the season...Was acquired from the San Diego Padres on July 31 for LHP Marc Rzepczynski, just minutes before the 4PM ET trade deadline and was optioned to AAA Columbus, where he appeared in 2 games before being recalled on August 8th...In his Indians debut on August 8 vs. Minnesota went 4-for-5 with 3 runs, 2 doubles, a home run and 2 RBI, setting new single-game career-bests in hits, runs, doubles and extra base hits....Marked the first time an Indian (since at least 1914) recorded 4 hits and 3 extra base hits in a club debut...One of only two Indians (Brandon Moss) to collect 3 extra base hits in a game in 2015...Also homered the next day vs. Minnesota and hit safely in his first six games with the club and collected an extra base hit in four of those contests...Also hit his first career grand slam (single-game career-high 4 RBI) on August 30 vs. the LA Angels (off Jerod Weaver)...Over his last 37 games from August 23 thru the end of the season he batted .276 (34-123) with 5 2B, 4 3B, 3 HR and 12 RBI (30 runs) and finished 2nd on the club with 5 triples despite playing in only 51 games...Appeared in 50 games in center field, making 49 starts...On the year hit .250 vs. both RHP and LHP but had a .779 OPS vs. RHP (21 extra base hits) compared to a .548 OPS vs. lefties (1 2B)...Hit .203 (15-74) with runners on base for Cleveland...Prior to being acquired from the Padres he split the season between San Diego and AAA El Paso, hitting .275 (67-244) with 18 doubles, 2 3B, 4 HR, 35 RBI and 11 steals in 61 games at Triple-A (went 5-for-5 w/4 RS, 2B, RBI in season-opening game of April 9 vs. Tacoma)... Set career-highs in several categories, including games played (59), at-bats (204), hits (47), doubles (10), home runs (three), RBI (15), walks (12) and stolen bases (four) between Seattle and San Diego after being acquired by the Padres at the trade deadline...Acquired by the Padres on 7/31 from SEA along with RHP Stephen Kohlscheen in exchange for OF Chris Denorfia...Reported to San Diego on 8/1…started 24 games total for the Padres, including 14 in CF and 10 in LF...Made his first career Opening Day roster with SEA , starting on Opening Day batting leadoff in center field...Hit .288/.312/.411 (21-for-73) with three doubles, two home runs, seven RBI and three walks in 22 games in August, his first month in a Padres uniform…ranked among the National League rookie leaders for the month of August in batting average (fourth), on-base percentage (eighth), slugging percentage (ninth) and doubles (tied for third)...Belted his first home run for the Padres on 8/13 vs. COL, a solo shot to left field against Tyler Matzek…hit his second homer as a Padre on 8/26 vs. MIL off Jimmy Nelson, a solo shot down the right field line...Left his start on 9/6 at COL with a left high ankle sprain and returned to action on 9/14 before aggravating the ankle again on 9/20, sitting out the remainder of the season.

Reached base safely in 18 consecutive games to begin his career (min. 1 AB), the 2nd-longest streak in club history to begin a career (Alvin Davis, 47 G in 1984). Made MLB debut Aug. 30 at Houston (1x5, 2 RBI)…7th player in Mariners history w/2+ RBI in MLB debut. Hit first Major League home run Sept. 9 vs. Houston off Chia-Jen Lo. Named the Mariners Minor League Heart and Soul Award winner for his exemplary play and leadership. Combined to bat .300 (132x440) with 23 doubles, 6 triples, 15 home runs, 68 RBI and 26 stolen bases in 123 games with AA Jackson and AAA Tacoma. In 94 games with Tacoma hit .314 (106x338) with 17 doubles, 5 triples, 11 home runs, 50 RBI and 20 stolen bases…named Tacoma's MVP. Went 6-for-6 (all singles) May 29 at Colorado Springs…one of 7 minor leaguers with a 6-hit game in 2013. Hit for the cycle April 27 at Chattanooga (4x5, 2 R, 2B, 3B, HR, 4 RBI) with AA Jackson. Played for Leones del Escogido in the Dominican Winter League.

2012

Spent the majority of the season with Double-A Trenton in the Yankees organization...Named an Eastern League mid-season All-Star…ranked fifth in the EL with 30 stolen bases in 35 attempts.

2011

Played the entire season with Single-A Tampa in the Florida State League...Hit safely in a league-best 34 consecutive games from 7/26-9/1, hitting .350 (50-for-143) in that span...Played in 31 games with Leones del Escogido of the Dominican Winter League.

Played in just 17 games with Single-A Tampa before undergoing surgery for a right labrum tear.

Spent the season in the South Atlantic League, setting career-highs in nearly every offensive category...Recorded a then-career-high 26-game hitting streak from 8/6-9/4, hitting .405 (45-for-111) over that streak.
