Graduated from Woodrow Wilson High School in Washington, D.C....was the Mid-American Conference 2006 Player of the Year at Kent State University in Kent, Ohio (56g, .360, 10 2b, 3 3b, 4hr)... that season led the nation with 42 stolen bases (44 attempts)...in 2005 led the Cape Cod League in hits and stolen bases (44g, 52h, 37sb). 2012 Made 60 apps for the Giants and 29 at Class AAA Fresno...on 7/28 was designated for assignment and 5 days later was outrighted to Fresno...on 9/4 rejoined the Giants and appeared in 8 more games as they battled for the West Division title...following the season refused an outright assignment to the minors and elected free agency...on 11/14 was signed by the Reds to a minor league contract. 2011 27-year-old bounced back and forth from Triple-A Fresno to San Francisco on 3 different occasions... batted .204 (28-for-137) in 59 games with San Francisco, his 4th season at Major League level ... Started 28 games for Giants (22 at 2nd base, 4 at shortstop and 2 at 3rd base) and appeared at every infield position as well as left field during season. ... Set single-game Fresno franchise record with 4 steals on April 8 vs. Las Vegas ... Was recalled from triple-A Fresno on April 28 after hitting .344 (21-for-61) with 15 runs, 5 2Bs and 3 RBI, while going 15-for-18 (83.3%) in stolen base attempts...at time of his recall, his 15 steals led all players in triple-A and were 2nd-most in all of minors. ...
