Danny worked his way back from Tommy John surgery, making five Major League starts in August and September. Carried a no-hitter into the sixth inning on August 16 at Detroit, tossing 6.0 shutout innings in his first MLB win since May 3, 2012. His 1.85 ERA was second-best in the A.L. among pitchers that made at least five starts (Clay Buchholz, 1.74). Recorded a career-best 15.2 consecutive scoreless innings from August 16 to September 2, which spanned three Major League starts. Did not lose a decision after June 5, including 18 outings with Northwest Arkansas (AA), Omaha (AAA) and KC.
