Attended the University of Richmond...Married, wife's name is Melissa. 2012 Spent majority of season with Triple-A Norfolk in Baltimore system, leading Tides in games played (132), at-bats (491), hits (130), doubles (29), RBIs (56) and total bases(191)...Finished fifth in International League in at-bats and tied for fifth in games played...Over first 25 games, totaled 20 hits in 96 at-bats (.208)...Hit at .291 (87-for-299) clip in next 80 games...Hit season-best .322 (29-for-90) in 23 July games with 12 doubles, three home runs and 11 RBIs...In first game of season, went 1-for-3 with two runs scored, a home run and three RBIs...The three RBIs would mark a season high that was equaled five times...Recorded season-high four hits on May 8 at Louisville...Also tallied four hits on July 21 at Syracuse...Recalled by Baltimore on July 5 and made Major League debut on July 7 at Angels, going 0-for-3...In two separate stints with Orioles, went 0-for-4 in two games. 2011 Batted .289/.344/.502 in 85 games (315 AB) for Double-A Bowie ...
