Joseph M. Paterson...Married to Carley...Attended Linfield (Ore.) College and Oregon State University...was a member of the Oregon State team that won the 2006 College World Series...posted a 11-7 record, 3.74 ERA and 3 saves in 53 games (18 starts) during his two seasons with the Beavers from 2006-07...Graduated from McMinnville (Ore.) High School.

Made 2 appearances with the D-backs in June and posted a 3.86 ERA (1 ER in 2.1 IP)... Threw a career-high 2.0 innings on June 21 vs. Reds... Spent the majority of the season with Triple-A Reno, going 3-1 with 1 save and a 1.89 ERA (11 ER in 52.1 IP) in 48 relief appearances... Had 14 straight scoreless outings from May 2-June 7... Posted a 0.71 ERA (2 ER in 25.1 IP) in his fi nal 23 games.
