Had two separate stints with the Blue Jays before being dealt to Kansas City with Erik Kratz for Danny Valencia on July 28... Made six starts (three each for TOR and KC) before his final three outings out of bullpen with Royals. In his Blue Jays debut May 23 vs. OAK (5.1IP/1ER), picked up his 3rd career win and 1st ever home victory (0-6 previously). Recorded a season-high seven innings on Aug. 27 vs. MIN, allowing just one run, however received a no-decision. Appeared in the AAA All-Star Game on July 16, earning Top Star honours with 2.0 scoreless innings. Overall posted a 12-2 record with a 2.45 ERA at the AAA level... Led the International League in WHIP (0.87) and was T-1st in ERA (1.92) at time of his initial promotion. Started the season with 28.1 innings without issuing a walk... Did not issue more than 1 BB in any start with Buffalo, walking seven total in 108.1 innings. Fell 6.2 IP short of qualifying 1st for ERA title in International League.
