If he makes an appearance for the Astros this season, he would become the first Taiwanese-born player to wear an Astros jersey in a regular season game. ... Was one of three Taiwanese-born players to play in a Major League game last season, joining LHP Wei-Yin Chen (BAL) and RHP Chien-Ming Wang (WSH). ...
