Opened the 2013 season with Double A Jackson in the Seattle Mariners organization before being acquired by the Tigers on June 2...Played mostly in the outfield for Jackson where he batted .206 (26x126) in 34 games...Acquired by the Tigers on June 2 and assigned to Single A Lakeland...Played third base and shortstop for the Flying Tigers...batted .295 (85x288) in 74 games with Lakeland...Collected a season-high three RBI on June 13 versus Bradenton.

 

2012 Combined to bat .232 (88x380) with 62 runs scored, 18 doubles, 3 triples, 2 home runs and 30 RBI in 103 games with AA Jackson (95 G) and on rehab with AZL Mariners (8 G) ... Ranked 3rd among Mariners minor leaguers with 28 stolen bases ... On the disabled list from June 7-July 17 with a left hamstring strain ... Appeared mainly at third base (83 G), but also saw action in center field (15 G). 2011 Split season between AA Erie in Detroit organization and AA Jackson in Seattle system...Made Double-A debut as a 20-year-old, combining to bat .289 (138x477) with 21 doubles, 7 triples, 10 home runs and 69 RBI in 124 games...Acquired by Seattle from Detroit on July 30 along with Casper Wells (of), Charlie Furbush (lhp) and PTBNL (Chance Ruffin) in exchange for Doug Fister (rhp) and David Pauley (rhp)...Hit .310 (40x129) with 7 doubles, 3 home runs and 23 RBI in 33 games for Jackson...Ended the season with hits in 10 of last 11 games, batting .378 (17x45) with 2 home runs to raise Jackson batting average from .274 to .310...Played for Magallanes in the Venezuelan Winter League...hit .274 (23x84) with 4 doubles, 8 RBI in 24 games. 2010 Hit .271 (98x348) in career-high 89 games with A Lakeland...named the 4th-best prospect in the Tigers organization and 17th-best prospect in the Florida State League following the season by Baseball America...played for Surprise in the Arizona Fall League (.278/15x54). 2009 Spent majority of season with the GCL Tigers...also saw action in 6 games with A Lakeland...led all Gulf Coast League third basemen with 9 double plays. 2008 Made professional debut with the Tigers entry in the Venezuelan Summer League...among VSL leaders, ranked T2nd in games played (68), 3rd in stolen bases (20) and 4th in batting average (.321) and hits (80)...recorded season-high 11-game hitting streak June 13-25 (.341/14x41).
