Cristhian Pascual Adames (KRIS-chin uh-DAH-mis)…has two children, a daughter, Crismel Elianny Adames-Beltran and a son, Chris Elian Adames-Beltran…his father, Ramon Adames, was a fifth-grade math teacher and later became the personal cameraman for several presidents of the Dominican Republic.

2017

Began season on Rockies Opening Day roster, going hitless in 13 at-bats before being designated for assignment on April 30...Outrighted to Triple-A Albuquerque and in 89 games with Isotopes, hit .263 (85x323) with 19 doubles, six triples, 11 home runs and 52 RBI. Home run total tied career high (also 2015)...Appeared in 49 games at second base, 33 games at third base and seven games at shortstop...In 24 June games, hit .337 (29x86), marking best offensive month of season. Also had five doubles, five home runs and 13 RBI...Recorded at least one hit in 11 consecutive games from June 13-26 to mark a season-long hitting streak. Hit .404 (19x47) with two doubles, four home runs and 10 RBI over streak...In 14-inning affair on June 24 vs. El Paso, went 5x8 with three runs scored, two home runs and two RBI. Made 11 starts at shortstop and two starts at second base for the Rockies. Was 4-for-11 (.364) as a pinch-hitter.
