Dallas begins his fifth pro season with the Cubs organization after he was selected by Chicago in the 41st round of the 2010 draft ... added to the 40-man roster, November 20, 2013, he has gone 12-18 with a 3.64 ERA (123 ER/304.0 IP) in 66 minor league games, all but eight as a starting pitcher... Made six starts and went 4-1 with a 2.49 ERA (6 ER/21.2 IP) for the Mesa Solar Sox during the 2013 Arizona Fall League after missing part of the regular season with a finger sprain on his right hand... Participated in the Cubs inaugural Rookie Development Program in Chicago in January of 2013... Underwent Tommy John ligament replacement surgery on his right elbow in the summer of the 2009 while at Oral Roberts University ... recovered in time to pitch in nine games in 2010 after signing with the Cubs... Attended Oral Roberts University and Seminole State College ... graduated from Jenks (Okla.) High School in 2008.

Made two spot starts (0-2, 3.27 ERA) in his major league debut with the Cubs after having never pitched above Double-A prior to the year ...Spent a majority of the season with Triple-A Iowa, going 9-6 with a complete game and a 3.40 ERA (47 ER/124.1 IP) in 20 starts...Made his major league debut, June 28 vs. Washington (game one) … allowed an unearned run on four hits while fanning six in 6.0 innings of work...Became just the fifth Cubs starting pitcher since 1988 to throw at least 6.0 innings and not allow an earned run in his major league debut,joining Jeff Pico (May 31, 1988 vs. Reds, a complete game shutout), Bob Scanlan (May 7, 1991 at Houston), Amaury Telemaco (May 16, 1996 vs. Houston) and Ryan O'Malley (August 16, 2006 at Houston)...Singled in his first major league at-bat (off Gio Gonzalez), becoming the first Cubs pitcher to record a hit in his first career plate appearance since Chris Rusin tripled, August 21, 2012 in Milwaukee...At Iowa, struck out 83 hitters compared to just 32 walks … allowed eight home runs in 124.1 innings of work...Threw his second-career complete game in the first contest of a doubleheader May 28 at Memphis, tossing 6.1 innings while suffering the loss...Was 2-1 with a 2.08 ERA (6 ER/26.0 IP) in four July starts...Right-handed hitters were just 49-for-235 (.209) against him compared to a .283 mark (63-for-223) against lefties...Allowed one or zero runs in nine of his 20 starts … surrendered three runs or fewer in 16 starts...Went 4-0 with a 1.41 ERA (5 ER/32.0 IP) in five starts from June 18-July 22...Tossed 7.0-shutout innings in back-to-back starts on July 17 (at Round Rock) and July 22 (vs. New Hampshire).

2013

Dallas was 4-2 with a 3.13 ERA in nine starts for Double-A Tennessee before a finger sprain on his right hand ended his season in mid-May ... walked 17 and struck out 35 in 54.2 innings, and limited the opponent to a .214 batting average... Landed on Tennessee's disabled list, May 20, due to his injured finger ... missed remainder of season... Produced a 2.37 ERA (8 ER/30.1 IP) in his final five outings, April 25-May 18... Tossed 14.2 consecutive scoreless innings, April 20-May 2... Went 4-1 with a 2.49 ERA (6 ER/21.2 IP) for the Mesa Solar Sox in the Arizona Fall League ... did not allow an earned run in his final three starts, spanning 11.2 innings ... tossed 5.0 shutout innings in his final start, November 11 against Peoria.

2012

Made a career-high 27 starts for Double-A Tennessee, going 6-7 with a 4.24 ERA (64 ER/136.0 IP)... Walked two or fewer in 21 of 27 outings... Twice tossed a season-high 7.0 innings, including a 7.0-inning complete game effort, May 14 at Jackson... Started the season by posting a 1.08 ERA (2 ER/16.2 IP) in his first three starts, April 7-18... Posted a 3.29 ERA (15 ER/41.0 IP) in eight starts, June 4-July 15.

2011

Reached the Double-A level in his first full pro season, going 2-6 with a 3.22 ERA (34 ER/95.0 IP) in 21 games (20 starts) between Single-A Peoria and Double-A Tennessee... Began the season going 1-1 with a 1.66 ERA (8 ER/43.1 IP) in 12 games, 11 starts, prior to his promotion to Tennessee... Was 1-5 with a 4.53 ERA (26 ER/51.2 IP) in nine starts for the Smokies.

2010

In his first pro season, posted a 2.95 ERA (6 ER/18.1 IP) in nine games, two starts, primarily with Rookie League Mesa... Walked just two and struck out 18 between Mesa and Single-A Boise... Did not allow a home run in 18.1 innings.
