Ailing hammy lands Herrmann on disabled list

The D-backs placed catcher/outfielder Chris Herrmann on the disabled list on Sunday with a strained right hamstring. Infielder/outfielder Mike Freeman was selected from Triple-A Reno to take Herrmann's place.

Ailing hammy could result in DL trip for Herrmann

D-backs catcher/outfielder Chris Herrmann exited Friday night's 13-7 loss to the Dodgers with another right hamstring injury. His MRI results were not yet available early on Saturday afternoon, but manager Chip Hale said it could mean a trip to the disabled list.
