Single...attended Cal Poly San Luis Obispo...named to the 2008 All-Big West First Team after hitting .386 with eight home runs...led the Big West in RBI (60) and total bases (140)...received All-Big West honorable mention after hitting .333 with 17 doubles, five home runs and 31 RBI as a sophomore...is a 2005 graduate of Centennial High School in Corona, Calif.

Spent the majority of the year with the Charlotte Knights of the International League (AAA). Hit a combined .298 (54-181) over May and June. Posted a .327 average vs. LHP although five of his six HR and 38 of his 54 RBI came against RHP. Appeared in 12 games with the White Sox collecting five hits in 25 AB (.200).
