Also appeared in 14 games to start season with Triple-A New Orleans, batting .275 (14x51) with one home run and five RBI...Led Fish in RBI and ranked second in home runs behind Giancarlo Stanton (27)...Finished fifth in National League Rookie of the Year voting. Ranked third among all MLB rookies in home runs behind Kris Bryant (26) and Joc Peterson (26)...Also finished third in RBI, trailing Bryant (99) and Matt Duffy (77)...Hit .302 (35x116) with runners in scoring position, ranking fifth among all rookies...Recorded fourth-most home runs by rookie in Club history. Split sixth professional season between Triple-A New Orleans and Miami, making big league debut on June 5 at Tampa Bay...Had four stints with Major League squad: June 4-11, June 16-27, July 2-18 and Sep-tember 2 through end of season...With NOLA, set career highs in average (.306), slugging percentage (.517) and OPS (.889); also, finished campaign with 27 doubles, 18 home runs, 72 RBI and .372 on-base percentage in 103 games...Led Zephyrs in batting average and slugging percentage, while drawing Paci?c Coast League high 11 intentional walks...Best month of season was May, posting .330 (33x100) average with season-high 11 doubles, followed closely by .326 (31x95) mark in April...Batted .330 (89x270) vs. right-handers and .252 (29x115) vs. left-handers. Fifteen of 18 total home runs came vs. righties.• Batted .429 (15x35) as a designated hitter, with six doubles, two homers and 11 RBI...Opened first career Triple-A campaign with 14-game hitting streak, matching Carlos Gomez (2007) for longest streak to open season in New Orleans history. Became ?rst position players to record ?rst career hits in back-to-back plate appearances since Joe Inglett and Ryan Garko with Cleveland on July 1, 2006. • On June 10 at Texas, tied Marlins' club record for hits in a game by a designated hitter (3)...Connected for ?rst career home run on September 19 vs. Washington, a solo fourth-inning homer off Doug Fister...In Game 2 of a Sept. 26 doubleheader at Washington, tied career highs in hits (3) and RBI (2), and set new high for runs scored (4), which also tied team's single-game high for season (also, Casey McGehee on June 5 at TB and Christian Yelich on May 16 at SF).• Went 19x54 (.352) with two doubles, one HR and seven RBI in 15 starts, and was 2x20 (.100) with a double and four RBI as sub-stitute (1x17 as PH).
