2016

Spent the majority of the season with Triple-A Gwinnett and made his Major League debut with Atlanta on 6/22 at MIA...Made eight starts and six relief appearances for ATL during two stints with the Braves (6/16 - 8/19 and 9/17 - remainder of the season) ...Made all eight of his starts for the Braves over consecutive appearances from 7/6 - 8/20, posting a 2-3 record with a 6.30 ERA (28 ER, 40.0 IP)...In his six relief appearances, went 0-1 with a 4.50 ERA (6 ER, 12.0 IP)...Made his Major League debut on 6/22 at MIA, working a scoreless inning in a 3-0 loss...Earned his first Major League victory on 7/29 vs. PHI, tossing 6.0 innings of two-run ball in a 2-1 victory...Acquired by the Texas Rangers along with LHP Brady Feigl from the Atlanta Braves in exchange for RHP Luke Jackson on 12/8...13 days later was designated for assignment by TEX and was claimed off waivers by the Reds...Entered the 2016 campaign ranked by Baseball America as the Braves' No. 16 prospect.

Also named a Southern League All-Star…Set career highs in nearly every category in his sixth professional season, including appearances (25), innings pitched (138.1), strikeouts (88) and wins (8)…His 3.19 ERA was a career-low and ranked seventh among Braves' minor league starters. Also ranked in the top 10 in several other categories: opponents' batting average (4th, .246), strikeouts (5th, 88), innings (5th, 138.1) and wins (T3rd, 8)…Posted a 3.35 ERA with a 3-1 record and struck out 30 over 37.2 IP in six May starts en route to being named the organization's Mississippi Pitcher of the Month.
