Originially signed by the New York Mets as a non-drafted free agent on November 19, 2009...Signed by Rafael Perez, Ismael Cruz, and Modesto Abreu...Graduated from Liceo Don Pepe Alvarez HS...Has two children: son, Sneydar Gabriel Ynoa Adamez, and daughter, Gabriel Dannay Ynoa Adamez.

2017

Acquired by the Orioles from the New York Mets in exchange for cash considerations on 2/10...Spent most of the season with Triple-A Norfolk, going 6-9 with a 5.25 ERA (62 ER/106.1 IP) in 21 starts...Had three stints on the Major League roster...Appeared in nine games and made four starts...Went 2-3 with a 4.15 ERA (16 ER/34.2 IP) with the Orioles...Worked a career-high 8.0 innings on 9/21 vs. TB (5 H, 1 R, 2 BB, 3 K)...While with Norfolk, struck out a season-high seven batters on 8/13 at Rochester (L, 7.0 IP, 4 R, 3 ER, 1 HR, 7 K)...Posted a 2.78 ERA (7 ER/22.2 IP) in six games at Oriole Park (one start).

Recalled from Triple-A Las Vegas of the Pacific Coast League on 9/1...Was with the Mets from 8/13-18...Made his Major League debut on 8/13 vs. SD with 1.0 scoreless inning...Picked up the win in relief in a 3-2, 11-inning win...Last Mets reliever to win his Major League debut was Kenny Greer on 9/29/93 vs. STL...Teammate Robert Gsellman accomplished the same feat a week after Ynoa on 8/23 to become the eighth Met to record a win as a reliever in his Major League debut...The last time a pair of Mets made their debuts as relievers and each recorded a win was 1985 when Rick Aguilera and Roger McDowell did so...Made three starts (9/18 vs. MIN, 9/23 vs. PHI, and 10/2 at PHI)...Was 0-0 with a 3.18 ERA (4 ER/11.1 IP) as a starter and 1-0 with a 11.57 ERA (9 ER/7.0 IP) in seven games in relief...Right-handed batters went .308 (12-for-39) and left-handed hitters went .359 (14-for-39)...Was 12-5 with a 3.97 ERA (68 ER/154.1 IP) in 25 starts with Las Vegas...His 12 wins were tied for second-most for any Mets minor leaguer and tied for fourth-most in the PCL...His 154.1 innings were third-most in the PCL...Was named a Pacific Coast League Mid-Season All-Star after going 9-3 with a 4.19 ERA (51 ER/109.2 IP) in 18 starts before the break.

Put together back-to-back complete games, June 27 (8.0 innings) at Akron and July 2 at Erie (9.0 innings)....Tossed a nine-inning one-hitter at Erie with no walks and six strikeouts on July 2...For the year, he had one 9.0-inning outing, two 8.0-inning outings, one outing of 7.2 innings and five 7.0-inning games... Went 3-2 with a 1.95 ERA in five July starts... Worked 37.0 innings and permitted 25 hits, eight runs, earned, with two walks and 24 strikeouts....Walked 31 batters in 152.1 innings, an average of 1.83 walks per nine innings....Made one relief appearance, Aug. 26 vs. Erie, and pitched two scoreless innings.

Split the year between St. Lucie (A) of the Florida State League and Binghamton (AA) of the Eastern League...Joined the B-Mets on June 30...For the season he was a combined 11-4 in 25 starts with a 4.07 ERA...In 148.1 innings, he gave up 169 hits, 72 runs, 67 earned, and 25 walks with 106 strikeouts...Was a combined 6-0 with a 2.67 ERA (17 earned runs/57.1 innings) in nine starts in May and June...Went 3-0 with a 1.45 ERA (five earned runs/31.0 innings) in five games in May and 3-0 with a 4.10 ERA (12 earned runs/26.1 innings) in four games in June...With St. Lucie (A), lefthanded batters hit .256 against him (45-176)...Struck out a season-high 11 batters in 7.0 innings at Dunedin on June 6...Pitched a four-hit, seven inning shutout with no walks and Double-A season-high nine strikeouts to turn back Portland at home on July 9...Had a complete-game seven inning loss at home to New Britain on August 26...Was 2-0 with a 4.08 ERA in five starts in Binghamton (AA) in July (13 earned runs/28.2 innings)...Righthanded batters compiled a .216 (30-139) batting average against him at Double-A.

Was named the Sterling Organizational Pitcher of the Year...Won 17 games, including two in the postseason for Savannah (A) of the South Atlantic League, which led all Mets minor leaguers and the SAL...Was named the South Atlantic League's Most Outstanding Pitcher and was named to the SAL All-Star team...Also named the Topps' South Atlantic League Player of the Year...Posted a 2.72 ERA, the fourth-best mark in the SAL and was the lowest ERA among full-season Mets pitchers...Issued only 16 walks and struck out 106...Was 2-0 with a 0.95 ERA (two earned runs/14.2 innings) with nine strikeouts in two postseason starts to help the Sand Gnats capture the championship.

Had a 2.23 ERA (19 earned runs/76.2 innings) over 13 starts for Brooklyn (A) of the New York-Penn League...Named to the NYPL All-Star team.
