Severino to DL with mild triceps strain

The Yankees may finally have an explanation for Luis Severino's sophomore slump. Forced to leave his start in the third inning on Friday, the hurler has been diagnosed with a mild strain of his right triceps, which landed him on the 15-day disabled list.

Bird to miss 2016 season

Graduated from Grandview High School (Colo.) in 2011…as a senior, batted .553 with 12HR and 38RBI…was named 2010-11 Gatorade Colorado High School "Player of the Year"…in 2010, participated in the Under Armour All-America Game.
