Full name is Terrance J. Gore…resides in Panama City, Fla., with wife, Britney and son, Zane Patrick…participated in 2015 Royals Caravan as well as FanFest in 2015 and 2016... Played one season at Gulf Coast Community College in Panama City, Fla. (2011), where he hit .330 with 51 stolen bases in 54 attempts…theft total ranks second in a single season at the school... Graduated from Jones County High School in Gray, Ga., in 2010…batted .474 as a senior with 49 steals…recorded 145 stolen bases during his high school career.

2017

Made the Opening Day roster for the second consecutive season, but was optioned to Omaha (AAA) on April 10… recalled twice, July 29-30 and Sept. 1 through the end of the season... Appeared in 12 games with Kansas City, all off the bench... Went 2-for-4 in stolen base attempts with the Royals... Went 0-for-4 at the plate and remains hitless in 11 career atbats in the Majors... Hit .249 (56-for-225) with 21 stolen bases in 24 attempts (87.5%) in 84 games between Omaha and Northwest Arkansas (AA)... Hit his first professional home run on June 10 vs. New Orleans in his 1,947th career plate appearance between the Minors and Majors…it was a two-run shot that traveled 401 ft. according to Trackman.

Made his first Opening Day roster, but spent most of the season at Northwest Arkansas (AA)…optioned on May 4 and recalled on Sept. 2...Scored winning run on a 10th inning walk-off wild pitch on April 10 vs. Minnesota…pinch ran for Christian Colon at first base, who led off with a walk...Tallied tying run in the ninth inning in Kansas City's 7-6 walk-off win vs. Washington on May 3…pinch ran for Salvador Perez at first base and scored on Mike Moustakas' pinch-hit two-run single...Scored six runs as a pinch-runner, third most in the Majors…all 11 of his stolen bases came as a pinchrunner, seven more than anyone else...Successful on his first nine stolen base attempts and the first 17 of his regular season career, before being caught by Cleveland's Roberto Perez on Sept. 21… caught for the second time in his career on Oct. 2, again by Perez...Recorded 11 steals with just three plate appearances… the only other player in Major League history with more stolen bases and fewer plate appearances in a single season is Oakland's Herb Washington, who recorded 29 steals without a plate appearance in 1974...Led the Southern League with 44 stolen bases in 49 attempts (89.8%) - 13 more steals than the next closest player - despite playing in just 88 games.

Terrance had two stints with the Royals in 2015, being recalled from Northwest Arkansas (A A) in April for two days and was also recalled September 1...Appeared in nine games during the month of September, recording three stolen bases and scoring a run...He had four plate appearances, reaching base on September 22 vs. Seattle via a hit by pitch...Spent a majority of the season with the Naturals, batting .284 with four doubles, a triple, 39 steals and 42 runs scored...His 39 thefts ranked second in the Texas League, while he was caught just twice...named a Texas League All-Star for the first time in his career.

2014

Terrance made his Major League debut on September 2 vs. Texas and appeared in 11 regular season games, including nine as a pinch runner...He scored five runs and recorded five stolen bases, despite making just two plate appearances during September...He ranks second in Major League history with the most runs scored and two plate appearances or fewer, behind former Oakland designated runner, Herb Washington (33 runs scored, 0 plate appearances)...Scored the winning run in the ninth inning of KC's 4-3 walk-off victory over the White Sox on September 15 (came around from second base on Lorenzo Cain's infield single)...Despite making his MLB debut September 2, he was credited with a stolen base and a run scored in the August 31 loss to Cleveland as he did both during the completion of the suspended game on September 22 at Progressive Field...Spent a majority of the season at Wilmington (A-Advanced), where he ranked fourth in the Carolina League with 36 stolen bases in 89 games...Also played in 17 games at Omaha (AAA), where he had 11 steals and eight runs scored...Appeared in six postseason games, recording three steals and scoring two runs...Collected stolen bases in the first two games of the ALDS vs. the Angels...scored the go-ahead run in Game 2 of the ALCS vs. the Orioles, coming home on Alcides Escobar's RBI double.
