Joseph Carlo Biagini...Selected by the San Francisco in the 26th round of the 2011 First-Year Player Draft out of the University of California, Davis...Made 13 appearances for UC-Davis in 2011 after transferring from the College of San Mateo...His father, Rob, played briefly in the Giants' Minor League system in 1982.

2017

Went 2-12 with a 5.73 ERA and a .279 opp. avg. as a starter (1.48 WHIP)...Made 18 starts total, seven after returning from the minors at the end of August...In those seven starts, went 0-5 with a 5.94 ERA (22 ER/33.1 IP) with a 1.59 WHIP ... Went 1-1 out of the bullpen with a 4.26 ERA (15 ER/31.2 IP), a .223 opp. avg. and a 1.17 WHIP ... Nine of his last 10 relief appearances were scoreless outings (.184 opp. avg., 7-for-38) ...
