Christopher Michael Bostick...Is a 2011 graduate of the Aquinas Institute in Rochester, NY, where he hit .510 as a senior...Was also a wide receiver on the Aquinas football team, helping lead the Little Irish to a 2010 state title...Signed a letter of intent to played baseball at St. John's University...Played for the Webster Yankees in the New York Collegiate League prior to signing with Oakland and hit .413 (57-for-138) in 36 games. ...Participated in the team's annual caravan and PirateFest event this past December.

2016

Split season between Harrisburg (Nationals' AA) and Syracuse (Nationals' AAA) and batted .250 (121-for-484) with 22 doubles, eight home runs and 51 RBI in 135 total games...Also had a career-high 10 triples...Began season at the Double-A level, where he made 62 starts at second base and six appearances (five starts) in left field...Batted .324 (36-for-111) with 13 multi-hit efforts in 29 games during the month of May...Homered in back-to-back games on 6/7-8...Was leading the Eastern League with eight triples when he was promoted to Triple-A on 6/26...Homered in his second game with Syracuse on 6/28 vs. Scranton/WB...Hit his second and final home run with the Chiefs on 7/6 at Durham...Made 47 appearances (46 starts) at second base, 13 starts at third base and two starts in left field while playing with Syracuse.
