Odrisamer Orue Despaigne…pronounced oh-DREE-sah-mer deh-SPAWN-yay…married to Arlenys…played professionally for the Havana Industriales of Cuba's Serie Nacional for eight seasons prior to signing with the Padres... posted a career 61-43 record with a 3.55 ERA (378 ER, 957.1 IP) with 684 strikeouts against 390 walks in 213 games.
