Corey David Taylor graduated from Kennedale (TX) High School where he posted a 1.32 ERA in 60 innings as a senior...Was a first-team All-State selection, the 3A Player of the Year and was named the district's Most Valuable Player. Lettered three years in basketball and two years in football...Was second team all-district in basketball and first-team all district in football as a senior...Attended Cisco College (TX) in 2012 and helped lead the team to its first NJCAA Region V Championship and the school's first appearance in the JUCO World Series...Transferred to Texas Tech for his sophomore season...Posted a 4-0 record with a 0.31 ERA (two earned runs/57.1 innings) during his senior season in Lubbock in 19 games (one start)...The 0.31 ERA led the NCAA.


Spent the entire year with Binghamton (AA) of the Eastern League...Tossed a season-best 2.1 innings vs. Erie on August 9...Worked at least 2.0 innings in 17 of his 42 games...
